FAQ

Is Hypnosis Safe?
YES. A wealth of research has documented its safety.  The American Medical Association approved hypnosis for therapeutic use in 1958.

Can Anyone be Hypnotized?
YES.  Hypnosis is similar to daydreaming.  It resembles trance states of daily life - the deep absorption we might find in a book or perhaps a movie or favorite piece of music.  A kindred experience is an athlete's "zone", musician's "groove" or artist's "flow".  During such times, the mind does not go away, it just shifts to a more internal place that is less distracted and more focused.

Is Hypnosis Effective?
YES. Hypnosis can be the single most powerful tool to make changes in any self-limiting belief or behavior.  Sometimes it can seem like an uphill battle to change habits or core beliefs about ourselves. But with hypnosis, the mind is free to consider possibilities that would not be believable to the conscious mind because of learned limitations.  By tapping into the subconscious mind, these limitations can be understood and resolved, allowing positive changes to occur.

Will I Lose Control?
NO. In fact, you will gain control of self limiting beliefs.  You will also gain control over any unwanted habit.  You will even gain control over any fears you struggle with.  Most importantly, you will gain control over your life.

Can I Get Stuck in the Hypnotic State?
NO. Getting "stuck" in a hypnotic trance, losing control, divulging secrets or acting foolishly is simply a fictional interpretation created by film and stage for entertainment.

How Many Sessions?
It depends on the individual and the issue.  Generally, one to five sessions will achieve your desired goal.

Can I Work on More Than One Issue at a Time?
It is generally best and most effective to focus on one issue at a time.

Can Hypnosis be used with Children?
YES. Children love it and they have naturally imaginative minds.

Will Insurance Cover My Sessions?
Hypnosis services are generally not covered by insurance.
